Judgment of the Light - World Premieres and OCG Imports

Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Rooster
JOTL-EN094
This should be a card all of you are familiar with, especially since one of our own, Neodasus, wrote an article on the deck this card completes. Let's break him down a bit.

huehuehue
  1. Searching any Fire Fist off being Special summoned by a Fist? Extremely easy to pull off with cards like Spirit and Horse Prince (and Dragon should you choose to be THAT guy). Helps to grab a Spirit for next turn, search Bear off for Tensu plays, or search Swallow if you're a fan of Neo's deck.
  2. I should not even need to explain this effect in detail. "Once per turn: You can send 1 Face-up "Fire Formation" spell/trap card you control to the grave; set 1 "Fire Formation" spell/trap from your deck." Holy shit that is a good effect. Leftover Tenki from last turn? Get a new one. Only have Tenki/Tensu and Rooster in hand? Use the formation and then swap it for the other, and grab Spirit with Tenki. You now can make Horse Prince, summon Rooster, search whatever, and you have a decent set-up for next turn as well.
Coach Captain Bearman & Coach Soldier Wolfbark
JOTL-EN092 & JOTL-EN093
Fire King High Avatar Yaksha
JOTL-EN095
We finally get these two, but Bearman isn't what the focus is on. Wolfbark is the card to have for 4-Axis Fire Fists. His effect is an ignition effect that targets 1 4-star FIRE Beast-warrior from the grave ans summons it
with the effects negated. AND HE IS SEARCHED BY TENKI. Easy Tiger Kings and combos with Tiger King. A really great card that strengthens the deck altogether.
Wolfberk has a few other uses in decks like Fire Kings (Yaksha and Barong activate in the grave, so they are prime targets) and even Glads. Bearman however, is another story. He's not searchable by Tenki, and his effect is lackluster for making Rank 8, especially since there's only 1 FIRE Warrior Xyz he can make, being Giantrainer. You could theoretically summon him by Tensu, summon Wolfberk and get a level 4, use his effect, and overlay the other 2 into any rank 8. But he's not worth the deck space just for that.

Angel of Zera
JOTL-EN087
Get back Zera whenever you want.
Decent Synchro world premieres? Wow.
So this guy has a nifty gimmick, when he gets banished, he comes back next standby phase. That is, banished from ANYWHERE, so Black Luster Soldier, Bottomless, Prison, Fate, etc gets him rolling. He also gains 100 ATK for every banished card your opponent has. So Macro could have a field day with this dude, every time he dies, he comes back, and your opponent's despair deepens. Also generic so expect Dragon Rulers to run him. (You could run D.D. Crow to banish him on either turn from the grave, which sounds neat as shit.)

Noble Knight Drystan
JOTL-EN084
This card's art is nice. Aside from that, it is also pretty decent in a Noble Knight deck. The Konami article said to bring him out with Medraut so you could equip the arms to him for his pop effect. When he gets equipped with a Noble Arms, you HAVE to pop a face-up card, which means you have to be careful about when you equip. His other effect, however minuscule it is, is of some use. Sets up a wall of sorts to cover Medraut and Gwalchavad, arguably the best Noble Knights in the archetype.

Xyz Encore
JOTL-EN08(?)
Target 1 face-up Xyz Monster your opponent controls that has Xyz Materials; detach all Xyz Materials from it, and if you do, return it to Extra Deck, then, if there is a Monster Card in the Graveyard among those detached Xyz Materials; Special Summon as many of those monsters as possible from the Graveyard to your opponent's side of the field in face-up Defense Position. Their Levels are reduced by 1 on the field. Cards and effects cannot be activated in response to this card's activation.
